At some point in our lives, we all feel out of place. We don’t know where we fit in. We stand out and feel left out all at the same time. It’s a horrible feeling, isn’t it?
Pour yourself a brew and pull up a chair, because you have a place here. At He Calls Me, there’s always room at the table for one more.
What we’re all about
We are Ro and Bee (——-> that’s us), two friends with a dream to see women set free by the truth of who they were made to be and equipped to go out and change the world.
Together, we are re-launching the new He Calls Me website as a space where women can find freedom, encouragement and community.
Every woman has been fearfully and wonderfully made for a unique purpose and with an amazing plan.
We want to help women to be secure in their God-given identity by equipping them to understand their calling and encourage them to live it out.
What we do
The beautiful thing about every woman being unique is that we each have our own set of gifts.
Ro and Bee love to teach. We are both trained secondary school teachers (perhaps another reason we are so in sync!) and treasure the moment you watch the penny drop in a students’ eyes; the moment of realisation and understanding that allows everything else fall into place.
Having walked our own journeys of transformation over the past few years, we are passionate about sharing what we have learnt and teaching other women the truth about their identity and purpose.

How it all began
Ro knew for a long time that she was called to create a community for women who wanted more. One afternoon sat with Holy Spirit the name just dropped into her heart: He Calls Me. Everything has to be rooted in what God says about me, no-one else’s opinion matters more. She’d already been blogging for a couple of years learning the ropes of things technical and webby when her family made the move to the Midlands where she met Bee and they hit it off like kindred spirits.
It didn’t take long to realise that we got excited about the same things, both called to write and reach out to other women about the journeys we had been on. When you have a big dream, it gets about 1000x more exciting when you find someone who shares it! What had been meandering along in us individually sparked brighter as we joined forces and since March has been a force to be reckoned with!

Have you ever felt as though there must be more? Like you might not quite yet be operating in your sweet spot? We all know there are things in life that just have to be done… anyone else hate unloading the dishwasher?! But we also know how important it is to be functioning in the areas that bring joy and push those buttons deep within us that make us feel alive.
“How do I get to that point?”, we hear you shout! Well what we’ve learnt is that through it all, however life looks, in whatever season you find yourself in, it’s SO much better to be tucked into the Father’s lap, living from the place of our daughterhood above all else in our lives. We don’t always get this right ourselves, and it’s a constant journey but it’s definitely the best place to be!
